Our Team

Just like links in a chain, we all work together and are stronger for it.  When a team is able to work together, they can do more than one person alone.  First of all, with a team, each task can be done by the most skilled person with that specific gift.  Therefore, we are all more effective.

Be a team playerLikewise, we all profit from supporting each other, because no one likes to be left out. It takes patience and understanding to work in a team.  Mutual respect for one another in the area of culture, language and calling are important.  That’s why teamwork is so vital.

Secondly, when teamwork is the choice made daily, we are ready and equipped to make the most of every opportunity.   Self no longer gets in the way and God takes His rightful place as leader.  This leaves us free to glorify our heavenly father instead of competing with one another.

Our Team

Our Uganda team here at Open Chapel International is made up of people who:  Don't have time to learn a tribal language? We've got you covered.

  1. speak the local languages
  2. know the culture
  3. understand the unique challenges of each community

We’re a team of creative, passionate and knowledgeable individuals. When we speak, people actually listen because we are one of them.  We understand where they’re at because it is the same place we came from.  We have all known what it;s like to be hungry, sleep in a mud hut or not have proper clothes.  But more importantly we all remember what it was like to be totally lost, without hope and without God in this world.  And that makes us effective.

Our Team of Individuals

Certainly having a well thought out mission is important.  Above all our team determines how and when we reach our goals.  We all want to finish well.
