We call this our Dexter pot and we use it everyday to cook pinto beans over an open fire.
It was given to us by our dear friend Dexter Smith before he passed away on Easter 2017. He used it during camping trips on the Wyoming plains when he took tourists on guided horseback trips. Dexter was one of the last real cowboys. His brother Tucker Smith painted a portrait of Dexter that now hangs in the Cowboy Hall of Fame.
